Postby anobium » Wed Jan 20, 2016 9:13 am

This British company is making replicas of tools from archaeological sites aimed mainly at re-enactment enthusiasts, but they could be used for any greenwood crafts.

I bought a spoon knife from them but was not impressed. The outside of the curve was flat and the bevel was on the inside so it didnt work.

I was interested in them, but when I asked more about them , he said they were for occasional use and I couldnt get me head around the the Bevel being one the inside and he said the reason was for Hand Sharpening only....I took it that they were more for reenactment then anything else..

I like the look of this guys http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/uk2014-lains/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
And messaged him a couple of times with questions and very helpful
