The major event for 2009 is of course the APT & GW Bodger's Ball, a weekend of fun where we also hold our AGM. 2009 will be a momentous year as we are planning to convert the association into a company limited by guarantee. The Ball will be held at Cusworth Hall, Doncaster 9th – 11th May, organised by the South Yorks group lead by Ralph Sixsmith MBE. More information will be published nearer the time. Suffice to say there are few organisations where such a high percentage of the members turn up to the AGM!

Anson Engine Museum

Following our success in 2008 we will be demonstrating again in 2009 when the craft centre at the Anson Engine Museum will be open to the public on the following days.

An invitation is extended to any APT & GW members. Up to now there are five local members who have expressed an interest and we hope to see more next year. The Museum is open Fri, Sat and Sun from Easter to the end of October, for further details go to enginemuseum.org
